- We will learn proper breathing techniques, the foundation of a beautiful vocal tone.
- We will release muscle tension and free the voice.
- We will learn to activate vocal resonators.
- We will explore the mechanics of the vocal apparatus through a practical laryngoscopy demonstration.
- We will gain a detailed understanding of the EVT (Estill Voice Training) system, helping you understand and master your voice at a whole new level.
FUNDAMENTALS OF A BEAUTIFUL SOUND
- We will master the principles of correct consonant articulation.
- We will learn to sing vowels correctly and refine our pitch accuracy (intonation).
- We will master the "cry" and "sob" techniques—key elements for performing classical and jazz pieces.
SONG PERFORMANCE AND STAGE INTERPRETATION
- We will work on overcoming psychological barriers and learn how to use the microphone effectively to shape our sound.
- We will master key vocal techniques for expressiveness (dynamic and stylistic approaches).
- We will learn a systematic method for analyzing and preparing songs.
- We will focus on the dramaturgy of the song—interpreting lyrics and emotions, as well as managing stage fright.
- We will perform a complete song and consolidate the vocal skills acquired over the previous months.
TRAINING LOW NOTES AND NATURAL RANGE
- We will master the basics of singing in a "speech-level" position and achieving a modern pop sound.
- We will learn to sing low notes—either with a full, rich tone or a light, soft quality.
- We will engage in advanced training for chest resonance. We will consolidate the knowledge we have gained by working on a new song and extend our vocal range downwards.
HIGH-NOTE TRAINING
- We will learn to sing high notes in the chest register (producing a full, powerful sound).
- We will explore the technique of singing high notes in the head register to achieve a light, tension-free sound.
- We will learn how to achieve a balanced sound across the entire vocal range using the "mix" technique.
- We will apply this knowledge to a new song and extend our vocal range upwards.
TECHNIQUES FOR AN EFFECTIVE AND VERSATILE SOUND
- We will master "twang" and "belting" techniques—key elements for performing contemporary and English-language songs.
- We will learn the basics of melisma for melodic vocal ornamentation.
- We will learn vocal noise techniques, specifically "vocal fry" (also known as *strohbass*).
- We will study and perform a song that incorporates all the techniques learned during the course.
